1. 1043 and 1043-S appear to be the same design and an example marked 1043-S is not known. Both are listed in 1965 and 1966 catalogs.
2. 1043 is designed to nest inside a 1042-S, and is optionally sold in a set of two 1043s nesting in one 1042-S.
